Hi! I’m Ashley Hayes.
Mary Mint bloomed out of a moment of clarity—a citrus-scented spark in the middle of a creative drought. After being laid off from a remote project management role and feeling the weight of uncertainty, I was standing in my kitchen one evening muddling mint for a homemade cocktail when it hit me: this is what I love. Hosting. Creating. Connecting people through experience.
The name “Mary Mint” popped into my head as a cheeky play on “merriment,” and it felt like it had been there all along, waiting patiently in the garnish tray of my imagination. A love for aesthetics, an eye for detail, and a background in event production gave me everything I needed to bring her to life.
When I’m not styling a bar or crafting a cocktail menu, I’m usually cooking for friends, hunting down the best sushi in town, or setting the vibe for a cozy night in with a signature drink and a great playlist. I believe celebrations should be personal, playful, and full of heart—and that’s the spirit I bring to every pour.
